Hi Fiona, Being a "20 minuter" is really helping me as I have just started to knit a jumper for myself. Being in the "older age" group I tend to suffer from rheumatic pains in my left thumb, so 20 mins. at a time helps me to make progress. I love to crochet as well but that affects my thumb as well!! -don't get old is the answer. Thought about you yesterday when I read the Telegraph magazine and saw the handbag mirrors. Are they yours? My daughter Sarah lives in Gayle and has got the knitting bug at the moment. It's good that the "younger"ones like you and her keep these skills going. Love your ideas. Bye for now. MegB

    Glad you're managing to get some crafting done. I know a Sarah in Gayle who knits, but it's probably not the same one. Does she have any children?

    Hi, I'm just popping round to the other members of the 20 minuters to give them the opportunity to join in the Gift draw in our blog shop. It is partly down to the encouragement of MarmaladeRose that I am still really enjoying doing my 20 minutes of crafting every day and this is stocking the shelves in our shop.     Hi Fiona, Yes, Sarah has a Bryony, a Jake and Charlie!!Lives in Little Ings. I am still trying to keep up the 20 mins a day. Found a pattern on the internet for a dishcloth but actually when it is knit in a pretty coloured cotton they make rather nice facecloths.Thought that they might be suitable for a "new baby" gift along with a knitted (or crotcheted) blanket or jacket. Keep up your lovely site. MegB

    Yes I know Sarah, she's lovely, I really enjoy her company when we meet up. Unfortuately we haven't seen much of each other over the last year or so. We hardly ever bump into each other. My daughter and Charlie are in the same year at school. What a small world!
